Petronel Butuc of The Audiophiles Clinic is selling off a large proportion of his stock of tape machines (plus a couple of professional turntables), due to a forthcoming relocation. There are some enticingly keen prices on offer here, so grab them while you can (I’m currently eyeing up the listings myself!).
All of the machines for sale are in superb condition and are serviced. Some have even undergone a complete restoration (as indicated in the listings), and these refurbed machines will include a one year warranty.
The obvious advantage here – in addition to an excellent quality/price ratio – is that you’re buying from one of the UK’s, if not the world’s, leading tape engineers (Petronel looks after the analogue kit for audiophile music label Chasing The Dragon, among others). I would also add that I know Petronel personally and he’s my go-to guy for all things tape-tech related.
