I’ve received loads of emails from you guys about problems with ordering tapes from Rhino High Fidelity – and I’ve also experienced a few hiccups and frustrations myself, which I’ve raised with Rhino a few times.
I’m pleased to report that the situation now seems to have been resolved, as of last night!
What was the problem?
Initially, Rhino’s tapes (and most of their High Fidelity vinyl exclusives) were only available direct from the US Rhino store, so I bought my first two tapes – Yes and T Rex – direct from the US. Then they started adding them to the Rhino UK and EU stores, however the stock was soon marked as ‘sold out’ across all titles so we couldn’t order them from the UK or Europe. However, when we went to the US store, those same titles were showing as being in stock, but when we then tried to check out, a message popped up saying ‘these items are not available for shipping to your country’!
What’s the solution
Now, all stock is being listed and sold from the main US store, and all stock should be available to be shipped to the UK / EU etc.
Next up in the catalogue is Jethro Tull’s Aqualung, so hopefully UK / European sales of that will go more smoothly.
